San Francisco Fed President Daly TV interview
What’s happening in the markets?
In an unusual Jackson Hole fashion, Fed Chair Jerome Powell delivered good news. Over the years, the Jackson Hole speech has been used as a platform for Fed Chairs to direct policy change. This time was no different, Powel seemed about as sure as ever, that rate cuts are coming!
⚠️ JUST IN:
*FED'S POWELL: 'THE TIME HAS COME FOR POLICY TO ADJUST'
*POWELL: WE DON'T SEEK OR WELCOME FURTHER LABOR MARKET COOLING
*POWELL: MY CONFIDENCE HAS GROWN THAT INFLATION IS ON PATH TO 2%

The question remains, will the Fed slowly walk into a quarter-point reduction or a half-point? I think Anna Wong, Cheif U.S. economist at Bloomberg, is spot on 🎯
What does this mean? I do not know. But, historically the initiation of rate cuts has been to ward off a recession, and in most cases was too late.

On Friday, the ETF market took off! 🚀 In our database of ~660 ETFs not a single ticker ended the day in the negative. I cannot say I have seen this before. Powell’s dovish tone was fuel for the market to ignite.

New ETF Trading Tool: alphaAI
Check out this ETF Trading product that has my attention, It’s called alphaAi, think of this as your risk-adjusted robo advisor. Its job is to capture high upside using machine learning algorithmic trading strategies while protecting the downside. The best part is alphaAI automatically rebalances to reduce risk, and auto-invests uninvested cash into the highest-yielding money markets.
During the 2022 drawdown, alphaAI’s trading strategy was able to react and rebalance enough to out preform competing robo advisors, and even SPY
2023 was a great year in the market, but with alphaAI it was an exceptional year.
AlphaAI is in beta, but if you want early access, click the link below!
